Google confirms that its recent core algorithm update and product review update are complete as of September 26, 2022.

Google quietly announced the completion of the rollout via its search ranking updates page.

On September 12, the September 2022 core update began to be distributed. On September 20, the product review update was released a week later.

Both updates will be available on the same day, September 26, which is ideal if you want to evaluate their impact right away.

How To Determine If You Are Affected By The Core Update

How To Tell If the Product Review Update Affected You

This one is simpler, as product review updates are only applied to product review search results.

Do you make product reviews available? If not, the update did not affect you.

If you do publish product reviews, keep rankings in mind. If you notice changes that are only visible on product review pages, it is most likely due to the product review update.

Ranking changes across your entire site, on the other hand, are more likely the result of the core update.
