Google Lens for translation getting an upgrade level
Recently, Google is carrying out a giant update to Google Lens. This update allows users to translate text on more complex backgrounds. Instead of hiding the original text, Google will remove it and re-create different pixels underneath with AI background. After that, Google will cover the translated text on the image.
Google is still applying generative adversarial networks known as GAN models. The models help present translated text better. It is the same technology that Google uses in Pixel devices to create Magic Eraser on photos.
This update will be available later this year, hopefully before the end of 2022.
